About this project

#education By supporting and accompanying young African students and PhD students at African universities, perspectives are created in the form of the most sustainable support of all: Education!
#ecofriendliness Research and business only have a future if they reflect and build on the existential relationship between humanity and the environment. Therefore, we only support projects that aim to achieve energy transition, climate change adaptation or mitigation.
Project CMR-002
New Streets from Old Tires
This project aims to recycle non-biodegradable waste (non-opaque, transparent and colored plastic bottle waste, tire waste) to enable its reuse or application in the production of a less costly and more resistant material for building new tarred roads in Cameroon. For this a hydrocarbon binder will be designed. By doing so, the project also aims to preserve non-renewable resources, especially aggregates (gravel and sand) of which less will be required in this new constitution of tarred roads.
