Funded send a smile to Ukraine

We - send a smile e.V. - are a non-profit organization for international development cooperation. With commitment and passion we stand up for the opportunities and rights of children, so that they can grow up in peace and get the opportunities for a self-determined future. Since 2014, we have already been able to realize various projects for children and young people. Our two current projects are the "Smile House" and "Girl Power" with a project focus in Ghana.

While our "normal" project activities in Ghana continue, we are currently concerned with a terrible incident: the attack by Russian troops in Ukraine and the terrible war that has been going on in Europe since then.
Innocent people, among them many children, are losing their homes and families and fear for their lives and their future.
For this reason, we have decided to start a spontaneous charity campaign on betterplace.

We are collecting money to then buy urgently needed donations in kind for children (food, sleeping bags & blankets, hygiene items, toys) and then take them to official collection points in Berlin and Munich. The goods will then be brought to the Ukrainian border via other aid organizations in order to provide the best possible care for people arriving there.
