Defibrillators for the Erlacher Höhe in the Rems-Murr region

85 percent of all cases of sudden cardiac death begin with ventricular fibrillation, which can be interrupted with the help of a defibrillator. Often only a few seconds decide over life or death. With a defibrillator, anyone can become a lifesaver! That is why we would like to install publicly accessible defibrillators at three of our facilities in the Rems-Murr region. The handy devices are specially designed for the use of laymen and are very easy to use.

Helping people in social emergencies has been the mission of the Erlacher Höhe since 1891.  We support people in need of housing, employment and people stuck in poverty, as well as people in need of care and people who are restricted in their social participation. We are also active in youth welfare. Every working day, we reach more than 1,600 people at 16 locations in seven counties in Baden-Württemberg. Our services include counselling centres, shelters, inpatient and outpatient facilities. The headquarters of our facility network is located in Großerlach-Erlach in the county of Rems-Murr. Together with our sister institution Dornahof in Altshausen, we form the Diakonieverbund DORNAHOF & ERLACHER HÖHE e. V. We are a member of the Diakonisches Werk Württemberg and thus belong to the Diakonie Deutschland, the social services of the Protestant churches.
