About this project
Jan-Rickmer Feindt from Children of Mathare e. V. is responsible for this project
Our goal is to improve everyday life and education in the slum of Mathare, Kenya. We support in various areas of education and also help with the humanitarian situation of students, teachers and other important supports in the education sector.
- We help the Children of Mathare Primary School to provide for the students and teachers with meals, school supplies, salaries etc. More information can be found here.
- We help older students from the slum who have been admitted to a high school to pay their annual tuition through sponsors. More information about these sponsorships can be found here.
- We cooperate with the KCITI College near the slum to help needy students to cope with their everyday student life. More information can be found here.
- Sometimes there are projects that you can support in a targeted manner. If we are currently collecting donations for such projects, you will find an overview of the projects here.
