About this project

Unfortunately, today on Thursday morning (24.02.2022) we have received reports from our colleagues and friends from Ukraine, who have reported explosions. We were very saddened to learn that an armed conflict has broken out in the region today. Other conflicts have shown that shells or mines are a great danger and leave many invalid children.

For over 20 years we have been helping children in Ukraine and providing them with prostetics in our two workshops in Kiev . Through the help of generous donors like you, we have been able to help over 250 children get a good start in life and a real chance for their future over the past few years.

We want to send a strong signal to the Ukrainian people that they do not stand alone! Every Euro/Dollar helps us to support children in Ukraine!

Our program at a glance:
  • Children receive prostheses to replace missing arms or legs.
  • Continuous fitting until the age of 18
  • The care meets the highest quality standards and takes place on-site in Kiev
  • The most common causes of disability are cancer, accidents, or acts of war
Unfortunately, the current crisis in Ukraine casts a large shadow ahead. Already, the care situation there for children who have lost an arm or a leg is less than optimal. Inadequate quality of care or no care at all outside the major cities makes it impossible for many children to grow up normally and in a manner appropriate for children.

With a donation, you give another child a real chance for a good life and can help to alleviate some of the suffering from the current crisis. We make sure that 100% of your donation will arrive in Kiew. Even if there should be temporary closures of our workshops, we will resume the supply after the reopening.
