Many people worry about the more and more obvious climate change. An increasing number also wonder, what they can practically do about it.

In fact, the main victims of a global climate warming will not be those who cause it by ever increasing production of greenhouse gases. The first and ones most to suffer will be those, who have no money to buy food from other countries in times of drought as we do in Germany. It will be the poorest of the poor - human beings who can't afford to buy enough food already today or who - as in Bangladesh - live in areas that will be flodded more frequently in the future.

Protecting the climate is therefore Christian love. We want to make our contribution and motivate others to protect our endangered climate system.

As charitable organization (NPO = Non-Profit Organisation), vision2inspire not only pursues own charitable projects described in our constitution. At the same time, we are also a fundraising-NPO that supports other NPOs ideally and financially. Especially, we collect donations at our events and presentations to forward them to distinctive other NPOs. Since our ministry is on pure vonluntary basis, the administrative costs can be kept very low (as of now, at max. 3% of these donations).

With this fundraising project we want to support other NPOs who implemet climate protection projects that also serve development aid and poverty reduction.

One example for such an NPO is atmosfair: they implement CO2 compensation projects according to highest international standards which at the same time help many people e.g. in Africa for their daily life - see our project photos (with kind support from atmosfair). Every human being that lives in an industrially developed country produces much more green house gases than his/her fair share of the world population, independently whether travelling by airplane some times or not. Supporting CO2 compensation projects that are independently certified to adhere to highest standards and also serve development aid and poverty reduction is a good way to help to protect our planet.
