About this project

- There are currently 2.3 billion children on earth of which 263 million do not have access to education
- Poverty is the greatest barrier for education
- Girls are especially disadvantaged in the Sub Sahara region, Middle East and South Asia.
- Girls are multiplicators – Girls and young adults that receive education are less likely to marry young. On average their children have a higher education
Target group:
Young adults in Kenya that are interested in IT and that have successfully finished the programming academy or are about to, but that have difficulties finding an IT-related job.
Project goals :
- Mentoring young adults on topics regarding their professional and private life
- Regular online-meetings with Kenyan students and young adults
- Providing them mobile internet for online meetups
- Host workshops and keynotes in order to teach soft skills and inspire young underprivileged adults for a career in IT
