About this project

In this project we will try out new and well-known drawing and painting techniques with the children. For example, we will test rather unknown techniques, such as dot painting or also called Papunya Tula. This technique is an art of the Aborigines from Australia, in which colorful works of art are created by applying colorful dots. The children can also learn about action painting according to Jackson Pollock, in which colors are shaken, sprayed or thrown. In the process, colorful pictures are created.

With this project, the children can try out painting and drawing techniques that are fun, encourage creativity and appeal to the senses. Through various techniques, the fine motor movements are also trained.

A creative week (5 days) is planned, during which the kids can participate on site at our facility. We need various materials for the implementation, such as paints, brushes, cups, glasses, handmade paper, canvases, aprons, etc..
