The donation project "Winterhelp Ahrtal" is anxious, currently also for the winter 2022/2023, to give the still thousands of affected people, who have to spend the winter in provisional dwellings with their children and pets, an aid within the framework of the NRW disaster decree, for the most necessary things. A multitude of heating systems in one, two and many multi-family houses could not be repaired or connected by the energy suppliers even today. In many cases, the municipal gas, water and electricity suppliers have been unable to install the necessary supply lines and have only been able to carry out emergency installations in many properties, if at all.
