Finance swimming training

Learning to swim is essential for survival. But fewer and fewer children have the opportunity to do so!

Swimming pools are closing, schools no longer have water times and swimming clubs lack volunteer staff.

Already in 2017, it was found that 59 per cent of all ten-year-olds are not safe swimmers.
The Corona pandemic will have made this worse.

The DLRG Ortsgruppe Fallingbostel e.V. has been training children to be safe swimmers since 1930.
Training is becoming more and more expensive for the association: the expenses for swimming pool rent, training material and courses for the volunteer instructors have risen significantly over the past decades. Nevertheless, the Ortsgruppe tries to keep course costs as low as possible.
The work of the Deutsche Lebens-Rettungs-Gesellschaf is largely financed by membership fees and donations.

And here we come to the purpose of this campaign:
We ask you for a donation to the training section of the DLRG local group Fallingbostel e.V..
The money will be invested in training and will help us to save lives in the long run. Because safe swimmers will not drown.
