About this project

For 13 years now, our Autism Foundation has been organizing therapeutic camps for people on the autism spectrum in the evenings and on weekends - also thanks to the kind support of many donors. Unfortunately, we were not able to collect enough donations in 2021.

In order to continue the Saturday group for people with autism in 2022, we urgently need your support.

Children, adolescents and adults on the autism spectrum who still live at home with their parents sometimes have severe behavioral problems (aggression, auto-aggression, and severe contact and relationship disorders ). Through the experience of joint activities in the group, the initiation of contacts and communication should be made possible. In addition, a relaxation of the usually very tense domestic situation is to be achieved.

In recent years, these camps have shown that joint activities have reduced mood swings and significantly reduced the behaviors described above. The participants learned to better control their mood swings and aggression. In some cases, it was even possible to dispense with medication altogether.

In order to enable all participants on the autism spectrum to engage in such leisure activities, they need, above all, good supervision. Currently, we are supported by 10 caregivers and social pedagogues, who we can only finance through donations.

We hope that we can count on your support also this year in order to be able to finance the needed 500 Euro per month for the whole year 2022.

At the same time, we would like to thank you for your support over the past years. Without this help we could not organize these events in a sustainable way.
