"Mitgefühl in Aktion e.V." (Compassion in Action) is a humanitarian aid organization, founded by Buddhists, but not focused on religious purposes and open to all. Our motivation is to promote sustainable help for self-help in countries with weak development.
Currently we support
Currently we support
- Greenhouses for a village to grow nutrient-rich fruits and vegetables
- meals, school supply and support for children with special needs in Sri Lanka
- a Dalit girls' home in India,
- rice scholarships for girls in education in Cambodia,
- Medical and educational care for refugee Rohingya children in Myanmar (Burma) bordering Thailand,
- Nomadic children in Mongolia,
Our support secures the livelihood and future prospects of those in need by providing food and education. Further donations are urgently needed for this. In 2025, in addition to our current projects, we would like to carry out direct aid in crisis areas again. The association takes care of all administrative costs with membership fees and association donations, so we can assure that 100% of all project donations go to direct aid on site without deduction.
