About us
ADOPT A REVOLUTION
Adopt a Revolution (AaR) is a German-Syrian solidarity and human rights organization that was founded in response to the peaceful uprising in Syria in 2011 and the increasingly brutal repression that followed. After the fall of the regime on December 8, 2024, our work continues to focus on supporting civil society in Syria, which once again faces major crises and devastating outbreaks of violence under the changed power dynamics.
Our goal: to support civil society actors who have advocated for a democratic, pluralistic Syrian society, as well as for justice and a peaceful life in freedom and dignity. We currently support more than 15 civil society initiatives across nearly all regions of Syria. These projects promote human rights, advance democratization processes, empower women, and foster dialogue among different social groups. In addition, they provide humanitarian aid to alleviate urgent needs.

Wir haben 19,44 € Spendengelder erhalten
Wir arbeiten in Syrien mit einer Organisation zusammen, die die Verwaltung der drei größten Unterkünfte für Vertriebene in Suweida im Juli 2025 übernahm und begann, sie gemeinsam mit lokalen Unterstützer*innen und externen Partner*innen auszustatten. Es wird bestätigt, dass die Zuwendung zur Förderung internationaler Gesinnung, der Toleranz auf allen Gebieten der Kultur und des Völkerverständigungsgedankens, zur Förderung der Hilfe für politisch Verfolgte, für Flüchtlinge und für Vertriebene und zur Förderung der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit verwendet wird.
