About us
Samarpan Village is an effort to rise above self and help the people with developmental and mental challenges. Inspired by Sadhana Village - a residential care centre for the challenged adults in the Kolavan Valley near Pune in Maharashtra, Samarpan Village is a Registered Charitable Society (Act 17 of Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1960) which came into existence on 18th September 2006. Committed to the care of the mentally challenged, the founder members include farmer representatives, social worker, lecturer, medical practitioners and artists. Samarpan Village is dedicated to sharing quality life with the mentally challenged, SPECIAL FRIENDS- as we address them.
Vision:
“To create a society truly based on legitimate rights, equality, justice, social sensitivity and a culture of service to make the persons with special needs self reliant by giving them quality life, equal opportunities so that they can face the various challenges of the life in a safe, socially secure environment,"
