About us

Dard Relied and Development Organization DRDO is a non-profit, non-political and non-governmental organization registered with Department of Social Welfare and Women Development Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa, Pakistan.
The organization has been formed and established by the motivated youth of Dir (lower). The area is remote and poverty-stricken with a population of over 500,000 inhabitants. The majority of the people from the area are associated with agriculture and cattle rearing. There are few or no healthcare, education and safe drinking water facilities. Alongside this, the infrastructure is of extremely poor quality.

The current waves of extremism and military operation resulting in mass displacement and inappropriate repatriation has added to the sufferings of the poor and neglected population of the area. There is a dire need to improve the education, healthcare and drinking water sectors in particular.
Dard Relief and Development Organization, with its very limited resources is active in supporting the poor and under-privileged sections of the community through food support, orphan care and welfare, safe drinking water and improvement of the infrastructure. Still, a great deal of improvement is required to support the efforts of Dard Relief and Development Organization.
