About us
The Pragmahal Palace, within the the City Palace Complex in the Darbargadh at Bhuj - Kutch was built in 1865 during the reign of HH Maharao Shri Pragmulji II of Kutch. It is a unique Italian Gothic building having stood by over a century and half. The heritage structure was extensively damaged in the catastrophic Kutch earthquake of January 2001. At present it houses a Museum and is open to all visitors. HH Maharao Shri Madansinhji Saheb of Kutch Benevolent Trust was registered in 1971 and the present HH Maharao Shri Pragmulji III Savai Bahadur of Kutch is the Chairman.
