About us

'Forest of Peace' is an international non-profit initiative for the balance, understanding and friendship between all cultures, religions, philosophies, economy and compatibility of environment all over the world.

A large portion of the proceeds from our supporters is used for charitable purposes in the developing countries. We also actively support Buddhist projects.

Our administrative costs are below average compared to most other nonprofit organizations.

Forest of Peace is built on high values, aiming for a a fruitful cooperation of the worlds religions and a peaceful life, worth living. We also actively support Buddhist projects. Our very first forest was established near Khik Thai, a small town about 40km south of Nakorn Ratchasima. Thailand is one of the most important countries of Buddhism.

Forest of Peace is a fully transparent organization. All bookings are available to all owners of a tree for the purpose of review. All activities, plans and projects are regularly published on our website. We do not maintain secret accounts and funds, the money of the tree owners does not wander into any slush funds.

Forest of Peace build the 1st CO2 Monument (Guard) worldwide on 1st Year Forest of Peace on 22.5.2011 in Khok Thai, Thailand by Guinness World Records® attempt.
