About us

Child Hope Organization (CHO) is a non-governmental, non-religious and a non-profit organization was established in 2008 which recognized by Ministry of Interior of licensed number 1299SCN on date 15th June 2009. CHO founded in response to a need to provide educational activities to the most vulnerable children through providing formal and non- formal education as a basic Khmer and English literacy, morality, sports, art/drawing, healthcare, computer, vocational skills training and life skills classes. And CHO has been promoting child rights awareness, parenting practice and job training support to those children and families in Battambang and Pailin province of Cambodia.

Child Hope Organization (CHO) is a non-governmental, non-religious and a non-profit organization was established in 2008 which recognized by Cambodia Ministry of Interior of licensed number 1299SCN on date 15th June 2009. CHO founded in response to a need to provide educational activities to the most vulnerable children through providing formal and non- formal education as a basic Khmer and English literacy, morality, sports, art/drawing, healthcare, computer, vocational skills training and life skills classes. And CHO has been promoting child rights awareness, parenting practice and job training support to those children and families in Battambang and Pailin province of Cambodia.

Programs are directed at reducing child hazardous labor and providing poor families with sustainable livelihood through income generation, cultivation and education. Moreover, CHO's mission is developed from the major problem areas around schooling for children in rural areas in Cambodia. Many children are far away from school in their rural area, many children drop out of school based to many reasons and many parents keep their children from going to school because they are needed to work on the land for family income. This creates many basic problems for children at very young age and is a round that CHO wishes to break through its work and projects. CHO raising and closely involves with roles of the social conscience of initially self-interested groups, the groundwork will be laid for future community actions, and alleviate poverty amongst the poorest of the poor and disadvantaged community through mobilizing the power of humanity and increase their level of independence by strengthening families’ economic status through provided agriculture technical and job trained in which case the quality of lives of the targeted population are improved.
