About us
We are a sports club based in Fürth, Bavaria, with just over 600 members. With a membership consisting predominantly of children and young people, we serve as a key hub for sports activities in Fürth’s *Südstadt* (South District). This district is the most populous part of the city; at the same time, its high population density and significant immigrant population create unique challenges and requirements for our youth work.
Our club is a sporting home for people from many different nations and diverse social backgrounds.
A standout feature of our club is our large wooden grandstand, built in 1914—the oldest wooden grandstand in Germany still in regular use for sports.
However, during work to install a solar power system on the roof, structural damage was discovered in the roof trusses—repairs that far exceed the financial means of our non-profit club.
We hope to raise the necessary funds to preserve this historic structure.
