About us
Wildnisbotin e.V. is committed to protecting the often unknown urban nature. We want to inspire enthusiasm and enable enriching experiences for the wilderness on your doorstep. We do this through a variety of nature tours, workshops, and participation in citizen science projects. In addition, we work as volunteer nature guides for the city of Frankfurt. Because only when awareness is created can optimal use and the desire for protection and further development arise.
A particular concern of ours is the promotion of inclusive nature experiences. In cooperation with the Frankfurt Foundation for the Blind, we regularly conduct nature walks for people with visual impairments.
Our current passion project is the creation of an inclusive nature trail at Frankfurt's main cemetery.

Der Pfad ist eröffnet
Liebe Spender und Spenderinnen,
am 17. September wurde der inklusive Erlebnispfad nun offiziell eröffnet. Wie bei allen größeren Projekten gibt es auch dabei Teilbereiche die noch nicht 100 Prozent perfekt sind (z.B. ist die Wegebeschilderung auf dem Friedhof noch nicht installiert). Nichtsdestotrotz möchten wir alle Unterstützrer:innen für Samstag den 26. September ab 15:00 Uhr zu einer kleinen Feier direkt am Pfad (Wildbienengarten-Hauptfriedhof) einladen. Es wäre schön sich dort einmal gemeinsam zu einem kleinen Rundganzu den Stationen mit anschließenden kleinen Snacks und Erfrischungsgetränken zu treffen.
