About us

Kreisler is a nonprofit association running a repair and lending hub created by and for the neighborhood, demonstrating how circularity works in everyday life. Instead of being thrown away, items are repaired, shared, and kept in use—from vacuum cleaners to bicycles. We create community spaces where sustainability, craft, and social connection meet. Based on the experiences we've gained through our pilot site in Berlin-Gropiusstadt, we aim to expand the concept as a social-franchise model in additional cities to activate neighborhoods and prevent waste at scale.
