About us

ApplicAid is a non-profit organization committed to equal opportunities in the education system. It improves access to scholarships for people from educationally disadvantaged backgrounds – including first-generation academics, people with refugee experience, from financially difficult circumstances, or with migration history.
The services include scholarship counseling, a digital and personal mentoring program, interactive workshops to strengthen skills, and local hubs for information access and exchange.
Over 700 experienced scholarship holders volunteer as mentors to support applicants. The program is coordinated by a 40-member core team.
ApplicAid's goal is a society where everyone has fair opportunities to develop their potential, regardless of background. The organization helps make Germany's scholarship system fairer, more transparent, and accessible, so that futures don't depend on origins.
