About us

Global Surgery Germany / DTC aims to improve access to safe and affordable surgical care for people of all social backgrounds worldwide, with a special focus on low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Our priority is to support projects initiated by local partners and integrated sustainably into national health systems. In addition to providing resources such as medical equipment, a key focus lies on training and education of healthcare professionals.
As the voice of global surgery in Germany, we actively promote international professional and scientific exchange through the organization of symposia and workshops.
