About us

The Central Welfare Board of Jews in Germany (ZWST) is the umbrella organization for Jewish welfare services in Germany. As an umbrella organization, the ZWST represents Jewish communities and regional associations in the field of social work. It is one of the six leading associations for independent welfare services in Germany and a member of the Federal Association of Non-Statutory Welfare (BAGFW). The ZWST's core mission is to promote the participation and empowerment of marginalized groups within the Jewish community.
