About us
tierheim.care e.V. is, to the best of our knowledge, the first organization dedicated to increasing safety for humans and animals in shelters, improving animal housing, creating safer workplaces, and reducing bite incidents and contamination.
We promote and support the development of safety-relevant and species-specific equipment for animal shelters and comparable facilities. In concrete terms, this means: constructing new shelters, renovating existing ones, and developing modern equipment and facility elements in line with the requirements of veterinary authorities and occupational safety institutions.
Our goal is not only to make shelters safer and more comfortable for animals, but also to improve conditions for the people who work every day with aggressive or sick animals.
