Ahmed’s Story – A Journey of Pain and Hope

My name is Ahmed, I’m 26 years old, and I’m from Syria.
I left my country in 2016, when I was just 17 years old, escaping the war and destruction. I came to Germany with my younger brother Murad, who was only one year younger than me. We had big dreams — to study, to work, and to build a better future.

I learned the German language and started studying, but in 2018, tragedy struck — my brother Murad drowned in a river in Stuttgart. I lost him forever.
Just seven days after his death, my mother arrived in Germany, finding me alone and heartbroken.

Years passed, and I tried to rebuild my life. In 2021, I got married, and now I have three beautiful children:

My baby boy, 8 months old 💙


Now, I dream of returning to Syria — to my homeland — to start a new life with my family.
I want to open a small construction brick factory, to work with my hands, live with dignity, and help rebuild our community.
