Its energetic and subtle style of music-making is a trademark that, coupled with its skill in sensitive accompaniment, is highly valued by many soloists. The list of international guest soloists includes Julia Fischer, Gautier Capuçon, Maximilian Hornung, Sharon Kam, and many more.
In addition to its extensive guest performances, the WKO shapes the musical life of its home region with its own subscription series, collaborations with cultural institutions in Heilbronn, a chamber music series, and imaginative programs for families, kindergartens, and schools, which run under the label »Für junge Ohren« (For Young Ears).
