About us

Green Yatra is a registered non-profit trust and a Non-Government Organization (NGO) dedicated to the protection and conservation of our Mother Nature Earth and its Environment. We strive to maintain the integrity of the ecosystems for the benefit of all living creatures by introducing and adopting a simple, Eco friendly, Green Lifestyle, Ideas to our day to day lives.
We are working in a sustainable way over the critical issues of environmental degradation and are involved in generating mass awareness and deepening of national and international public debate on environmental-related issues. We are also mobilizing the local communities in sustained high-pitched campaigns, and have initiated focused action such as Go Green Ganesha, Go Green Kids and Give Away & Recycle Your Stuffs. We are also involved in legal activism through public interest litigation and persistent advocacy with media, opinion makers and other stakeholders. A key goal for us is to educate the public on various sources of pollution and its adverse impact, and show how we can all strive to be Greener in our daily lives.
