About us
The non-profit organization Vincent e.V., based in Heidelberg, where it originated, primarily focuses on supporting and caring for people experiencing emotional crises and mental health conditions. In addition to operating a day center, its Open Studio offers a wide range of inclusive artistic and creative activities. These services are tailored to the individual needs and requirements of each person and are free of charge and easily accessible.
Since January 2025, the organization has also provided social and procedural counseling at a state-run initial reception center for refugees in Karlsruhe. Staff members on-site support and guide asylum seekers throughout their stay at the center and serve as points of contact for all social issues. These issues primarily concern the type of accommodation, benefit entitlements, and psychological and social problems. Staff members are involved in violence prevention coordination, street outreach, and volunteer coordination.

Das Jahr neigt sich dem Ende und wir freuen uns, dass schon ein Bedarf unserer Einzelfallhilfe erfüllt wurde.

Das Asylbewerberleistungsgesetz fremdbestimmt den Alltag unserer Klientel und macht sie so zu Menschen zweiter Klasse. Einzelfallhilfen machen den Unterschied, denn da, wo das Geld häufig fehlt oder knapp ist, müssten durch die Personen ansonsten Abstriche gemacht werden.
Die Spenden ermöglich(t)en es uns u.a., Tickets für unsere Klientel zu buchen, Medikamente mit hohem Eigenanteil zu erwerben oder mit einer kleinen Summe Bargeld die Zeit bis zur Auszahlung von Barleistungen zu überbrücken.
