Mission:
The mission of Chevaliar J.L.P. Roche Victoria K.S.G. Memorial Trust Society (CRS) is to strive hard for the betterment of underprivileged sections of the society, particularly the coastal community with focus on women empowerment, alternate livelihood, health and sanitation, conservation of natural resources, agriculture, climate change and disaster mitigation and adaptation.
Programmes:
Women empowerment through self help group formation, capacity building, helping them with vocational training/alternate livelihood enterprises; Housing facility to the coastal community through soft loan;Tsunami rehabilitation programme; Watershed management; Preparation of disaster management plans; Climate change mitigation and adaptation intervention;Care and support to HIV-AIDS affected and infected women and children;Education to school dropouts and child labour;Marine resource conservation
