About us
Studio44 e.V. was founded 29 years ago. Our goal is to support the mental and physical development of children, teenagers, and adults. Since the beginning, we have been the organization behind the "Junger Zirkus Zappelini" (Young Circus Zappelini).
People from the entire South Harz region come here to train. In various groups, they practice acrobatics, circus arts, and acting. The association, and especially the circus, has become a key part of cultural life in the South Harz area.
Studio44 e.V. offers 10 circus classes every week. Currently, 100 people aged 3 to 99 train with us. The association has about 100 active members.
Since 2016, we have our own circus tent. This is where the BLUE BALLOON Festival takes place, now in its ninth year. In addition to our own shows, workshops, and regular training, we invite at least seven national and international modern circus productions to perform.
