About us

Our residential group is part of KJHV. The supporting organization of KJHV Berlin-Brandenburg is the KJSH – Foundation for Child, Youth, and Social Services, registered in the Hamburg Foundation Database under file number 922.28-135.

We provide both outpatient and residential educational assistance pursuant to § 27 et seq. in conjunction with § 34 of the German Social Code Book VIII (SGB VIII) for children, adolescents, young adults, and families. The basis of these services is the assistance planning process according to § 36 SGB VIII. All our services include counseling and socio-educational support for families, children, adolescents, and young adults in cases of individual or family difficulties as well as in coping with crises and everyday problems.

We are a member of the Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband (Parity Welfare Association), State Associations of Berlin and Brandenburg, as well as the professional associations Internationale Gesellschaft für erzieherische Hilfen e.V. (IG
