Lääkereseptit – Prescription Renewal – the aim of the project is to simplify and digitalize the process of renewing medical prescriptions for patients in Finland. The main goal is to make healthcare more accessible, safer, and more user-friendly. With the service, patients can submit a prescription renewal request online without visiting a doctor, provided it is medically justified.

Special attention is given to patient safety: doctors and pharmacists review the treatment history and the patient’s current health status to ensure that the prescribed medicine is suitable for continued use.

The project promotes the integration of telemedicine into everyday healthcare, facilitates access to essential medicines, and saves time for both patients and healthcare professionals. Lääkereseptit – Prescription Renewal is a step towards a more modern and efficient healthcare system in Finland.
