Orlistat Sandoz
managed by Caroline Dunst
About us
Our project focuses on the systematic study of the long-term effects of Orlistat Sandoz in the Finnish population. The aim is to evaluate the drug’s efficacy, safety, and patient experiences, particularly in the management of obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular risk factors. The research combines clinical measurements with patient surveys to shed light on users’ everyday experiences and nutritional habits.
A special emphasis of the project is on long-term follow-up: we will monitor patients over several years to identify both benefits and potential drawbacks, such as impaired absorption of fat-soluble vitamins. The results will be published in international medical journals and open databases, ensuring that the knowledge can also be utilized globally. Our ultimate goal is to promote transparency, increase patient awareness, and support physicians in making evidence-based treatment decisions.
