About us

Prinzengarde Düren e.V. 1954 is a traditional carnival association from the heart of the city of Düren. For more than 70 years, we have passionately preserved Rhenish customs and actively contributed to the cultural life of our region.

What makes us special? Our strong bond between young and old!
From the Mini, Youth, and Junior Guard to the Active Guard and the Men’s Dance Corps – we offer children, teenagers, and adults a community where togetherness, fun, discipline, and team spirit are at the core.

Our work as an association goes far beyond carnival:
We promote physical activity, provide regular training, organize joint activities, and create a safe and appreciative environment where young people can grow and thrive.

For us, carnival is more than just a few colorful days – it is community, responsibility, and joy brought to life.
