About us
It all began in 1967, with a school for children and youth with deafblindness. Today the German Deafblind Centre has become one of the leading institutions for deafblindness in the world. We teach, guide, support, employ and include affected individuals - regardless of their age, gender, or ethnicity.
Through our work, we aim to empower children, youth, and adults for a self-determined future and to support inclusion for everyone.
