About us

The DITIB Turkish-Islamic Community of Lahr e.V. is an active, non-profit mosque community with a modern cultural and educational center. Our mosque, completed in 2019, features a dome and minaret and serves as a place for prayer, community, education, and integration. Children and youth are at the heart of our work: Dedicated classrooms host regular language and religious instruction as well as social projects. The construction of the new mosque was made possible largely through donations and membership contributions. However, we still face ongoing financial obligations of approximately €855,000. To gradually reduce these costs—while maintaining educational programs and day-to-day operations—we rely on your support. Every contribution makes a difference and helps strengthen our community for the long term.
