Chancen durch Lernen in Uganda e.V.

managed by Vera Kotseva

About us

The non-profit organization ChaduleiU supports over 50 needy children in Uganda, regardless of their origin, age or religion. The aim is to give them a better future through education, accommodation, food and medical care.

The operational work is carried out by the local partner association SMILE with the children's home “SMILE HOME” in Manyangwa near Kampala. Orphans and disadvantaged children find a loving home there.

In addition to school education, creative and practical activities such as music lessons, sewing courses and gardening are also supported. The school fees amount to €40-150 per month, depending on the level of education. Medical care is also essential, as diseases such as malaria are common and treatments have to be paid for in cash.

Education and health form the basis for a self-determined life - some former orphans are now supporting new generations themselves.
