About us

The Yedah Foundation is a Community Based Organization (CBO) initiated by Rev. Fr. Peter Olang and others in 2022 and is functional in Homabay Countywide. The name YEDAH is an abbreviation of The Youth Education Development And Health Foundation. The Foundation is basically aimed at establishment and operation of The Yedah Foundation for the purpose of the youth, community and making a positive living attractive. The Yedah Foundation is a voluntary, non- violent, peaceful, non –partisan, non- religious and non –governmental organization with CBO status. The Yedah Foundation works for the public good and acts responsibly.

The Foundation’s Development Department was initiated to work with local communities particularly Learners, women and children to reduce the level of poverty, HIV/AIDS pandemic, illiteracy and powerlessness that these marginalized youths are facing and to do all they can to improve the status of the destitute population to appreciate the vitally important need to empo
