About us
The TAM Museum is the first explicitly german-turkish-transcultural museum in Berlin—currently without a permanent home, yet driven by a powerful vision:
We are launching projects and exhibitions to establish a long-term home for the TAM Museum—a place where diverse perspectives on belonging, memory, and identity have room to unfold.
Our museum shares stories spanning over 500 years between Germany and Turkey—moving, surprising, and opening new perspectives.
Founded in April 2025 as a non-profit organization (gGmbH) by Müge Avar and Dr. Gülsah Stapel, supported by more than 180 dedicated individuals.
Now is the moment: Let’s change how we perceive belonging and identity, together.

Aktuell zahlen ihre spenden vor allem in unser Oral History Projekt "TAM Berlin - Genau Berlin" ein. Dieses wird vom Berliner Senat für İntegration aus dem Partizipations-/ Integrations- und Migrationsprogramm gefördert.
