About us

The d'Acchord choir was founded at the end of 2020 as a joint idea by students at the University of Konstanz and a dedicated choirmaster. Thanks to our diverse program, we regularly manage to inspire a wide audience.
What began with rehearsals in the cold due to the pandemic grew within a few semesters into a university group with enthusiastic singers, for which a sponsoring association has been founded. Some choir members who are not (or no longer) students but still belong to the choir enrich our group.
We are still developing: regular performances at the university and in Konstanz, initial collaborations with orchestras and other choirs, perhaps a trip abroad one day... ? Who knows where our ideas will take us?
Not everything can be financed by the - for student members naturally low - fees, so we collect donations for special projects and regular semester operations. These go exclusively to the choir and rehearsal work.
