About us
Around 1,500 facilities are under our umbrella. We, Caritas in Munich-Freising, maintain over 350 facilities under our own operation. As the largest welfare organisation in Upper Bavaria, we cover a broad spectrum of social services for all ages and in a variety of circumstances. These include, for example, day care centers for children, counseling centers for parents, children and young people, social counseling centers, debt counseling centers, addiction help centers, asylum and migration counseling centers and refugee services, facilities for the disabled, workshops for people with disabilities, home care services, retirement and nursing homes and social psychiatric services. Our work is needed more urgently than ever, because the past few years have shown us one thing: Welfare organizations are indispensable for solidarity in society. With our work, we are contributing to a society that can overcome crises and leaves no one behind on the margins.
