About us

Supporting disabled people for more than 40 years Behindert - na und? e.V. helps children, young people and adults with disabilities or chronic illnesses to live self-determined and independent lives and to find their place in society. Around 650 employees support, promote the potential and skills and strengthen the social skills of our clients.

In our own support center Arrenberg, a former school building in the Wuppertal residential area of ​​the same name, we offer children and families individual approaches to integration - everything under one roof and, if desired, everything from a single source. This includes our own advice center, interdisciplinary and curative early intervention, inclusion assistance in daycare and schools as well as the SAMBA / leisure and sport area (social assistance for people with disabilities in everyday life).

Together we enable offers for children, teenagers and young adults with disabilities.
