About us

Smile Foundation until April 2019 was operating as Caritas Gboko Foundation in Benue state as from 2012-2019 working with communities. A pull of well experienced humanitarian workers intervening on resource conflict communities across minority communities in the states of Benue valley (Benue, Nasarawa, Kaduna, Taraba and Plateau states). They filled for registration Corporate Affair Commission (CAC) to its present status of SMILE Development and Peace Foundation (A.K.A Smile Foundation).The organization having carried out activities on rural development, youth empowerment, environmental preparedness and control,civil education, system strengthening of community based organizations, early warning and response, Child care and development, HIV/AID response, nutrition, budget monitoring and tracking, education, water and Sanitation, food security, Livelihood opportunities, human right, gender and governance in the North of Nigeria.
