About us

The non-profit organisation ‘Bündnis gegen Depression Vorderpfalz e.V.’ is a regional initiative dedicated to the fight against depression and other mental illnesses under the umbrella of the German Depression Aid Foundation. The aim of the alliance is to raise awareness of mental health, change public perception and improve support for those affected. The alliance works with a large number of partners from various sectors, including medical professionals, self-help groups, social organisations and educational institutions.

The alliance focuses on education, prevention and the promotion of open dialogue in order to reduce stigma and help those affected to find support. It organises events, workshops and information campaigns that draw attention to the complexity of depression and its impact on everyday life.
