About us
Queerluxvis e.V. was founded to promote the reading, writing, and publishing of LGBTQ+ books and literature. Our non-profit organization consists of two distinct yet interconnected divisions: the 'ideological' branch: the Book Institute, and the 'special-purpose enterprise/Zweckbetrieb' branch: the Book Publisher.
The Book Institute focuses on research, education, and the promotion of LGBTQ+ literary culture, while the Book Publisher publishes works written by LGBTQ+ people who are often marginalized in the publishing world.
