About us
The Eissport Weißwasser e.V. boasts a tradition spanning over ninety-two years, which began on the outskirts of the city at the Braunsteich, where a handful of ice sports enthusiasts once pursued their passion—a pastime that was initially met with both admiration and amusement.
Today, around 200 boys and girls train on the ice daily, dreaming of one day following in the footsteps of their idols. The sheer number of youth team successes over the past decades is just as immeasurable as the number of professional ice hockey players who began their careers in Weißwasser. In the end, the commitment to youth development forms the very foundation of successful ice hockey in Weißwasser.

Tradition braucht Zukunft – Flexbande für den Eishockeystandort Weißwasser. Ziel unseres Projektes ist der Erhalt des Eishockeystandortes in Weißwasser mit dem verpflichtenden Einbau einer Flex-Bande in der Eisarena sowie die Absicherung vom Trainings- und Spielbetrieb des Eishockeynachwuchs.
