About us
We are the YMCA in Neukölln and were founded in November 2021. But why a separate local YMCA for Neukölln? With over 300,000 inhabitants in an area of 45 km², Neukölln is one of the most densely populated districts in Berlin. This is accompanied by a great diversity of people, which makes the district of Neukölln so incredibly diverse. We want to reach every single one of these people. First and foremost, young people and young adults from a wide range of social classes and cultures. Together, we want to create a sense of togetherness through various leisure and lifestyle activities in order to continue to shape this district in the long term and pave the way for a secure future.
