About us

An organization for development cooperation and humanitarian aid. Our work aims to support people in need, promote gender equality, and strengthen disaster and civil protection. At the same time, we are actively committed to promoting development cooperation. GBZ is based in Berlin, Germany, and is particularly dedicated to social initiatives that promote integration, education, and intercultural exchange. We organize projects and workshops that strengthen democratic participation, support migrants with essential resources, and foster social cohesion through community engagement. Since 2023, we have also been increasingly involved internationally, with a special focus on Syria. There, we support people in difficult life situations to provide them with new perspectives and opportunities for a better life.
