About us

Kayenje Church of Uganda Primary School, located in Gombe Parish, Butambala District, was established in 1903 as a community-founded institution under the Church of Uganda. With a mission to "Teach Today’s Child for Tomorrow’s World," the school has been a cornerstone of education and hope for the community for over a century.

Situated in the central part of Uganda, south of the capital city, Kampala, the school serves as a vital educational hub in the region. It is currently home to 758 children, ranging from 3 to 16 years of age, who are supported by a dedicated team of 26 teaching and non-teaching staff.

Kayenje Primary School offers a holistic education to its students, focusing not only on academic excellence but also on character formation and life skills. The institution is deeply rooted in its commitment to nurturing young minds and preparing them for the challenges and opportunities of the modern world.

As a church-founded school, it upholds strong values of faith.
